Appreciation

The following people were instrumental in making this site a reality.  Many thanks go to them for their support and hard work.

Sr. Mary Healy - Provided immense moral support, found previously "lost" tapes, and gave permission for posting of the homilies

Pat Dowd - Tirelessly transcribed all of the homilies

Tom Kenefake - Diligently taped all of Fr. Healy's homilies each week for many years

Christina Kozyn - Provided ongoing support (over many years), photos, and coordination with the Haiti Committee

Holy Ghost Fathers (Fr. Leonard Tuzzolo; Fr. Jeff Duaime; Fr. Tim Hickey) — all of whom provided support for the project

Sue Carlson and the OLQP Haiti Committee - Supporting the project, readily agreeing to accepting donations and using them to better the lives of the people from Medor, Haiti through an incredible list of impressive and needed projects and services

Ryan Atkins - Designed the blog and met unrealistic deadlines so that it could be launched by Advent

My wife and I were inveterate Fr. Healy "groupies". We traveled over 20 miles to Mass at Queen of Peace (our local parish was only 1.5 miles from home) to be fed by Fr. Healy's delivery of messages about a loving God, and challenges of what we, as a reflection of God's love, must do to ensure that others are aware of that love. Further, he challenged us to move outside our comfort zones to confront and change social injustice issues. Today we are all deeply concerned about the people of Haiti, and pray that many nations coordinate well to bring relief sooner than later. Thank you, Frank and Ryan, for the gift of this website!! (Gene Betit informed us of your work!) We look forward to listening to Fr. Healy's words again.

Helen and Charles, just a quick note... have thought of Jim Healy and the two of you over the years. At one point we would travel from outside of Brunswick MD to listen about the God who is Mercy... Hope the two of you are well.
